Change or stop your alerts
Hail alerts are sent for the locations saved to your account. Every channel — push, SMS, and email — is controlled from one screen in the app.
Everything lives on the Alerts screen.
There is no separate web login for alert settings — the app is the only place they are stored, so a change made there takes effect on the next alert.
Open the app
On the device where you installed Hail Sentinel. If you tapped this link on that phone, the app should have opened straight to your alert settings.
Go to Alerts
From the profile menu, choose Alerts. This is where every channel — push, SMS, and email — is turned on or off.
Turn Email off
Switching the Email channel off stops alert emails immediately, for every saved location. Push notifications are unaffected.
Email support@hailsentinel.com from the address that received the alert and we will turn the email channel off for you. Your account and push notifications stay as they are unless you ask otherwise.
Alert emails only go to a verified address on an account that switched the email channel on. If one reached you unexpectedly, write to support@hailsentinel.com — we want to know.
Hail Sentinel supplements but does not replace official National Weather Service warnings. Turning off alerts does not stop severe weather — always follow local emergency guidance.
