The worst part? I had an expensive car cover in my garage — but the 5-minute warning wasn't enough time to use it. $9,400 in vehicle damage alone.

While my HOA handled the home damage, the auto repair process was a nightmare. Weeks waiting for dent repair appointments, ordering parts, over a month without my car. That's when I realized the entire system — alerts, claims, repairs — was fundamentally broken.

I had every weather app imaginable. Premium subscriptions. An expensive hail cover sitting in my garage. But with only minutes of warning, I couldn't protect my car.

No solution existed.

I searched everywhere for a better solution. Something that could give me real advance warning — enough time to actually protect my assets.

Every weather app offered the same thing: basic radar, generic forecasts, and alerts that came too late. Nobody was using advanced AI to analyze radar data and predict hail formation before it happened.

The technology existed — advanced radar, machine learning, cloud computing — but nobody had put it together to solve this specific problem.

What started as personal frustration quickly revealed a much bigger problem. Hail causes billions of dollars in damage across the United States every year — devastating homeowners, insurers, contractors, and farmers alike.

The same broken system that failed me was failing entire industries. Insurance carriers lacked granular data for accurate underwriting. Contractors had no way to identify storm-affected properties. Farmers watched crops destroyed with zero advance notice. Everyone was relying on the same county-level alerts that came too late and covered too much area to be useful.

Building something just for myself was never the goal. If the technology could save one car, it could protect entire fleets, farms, and portfolios.
